So here we are at the Chok Dee Thai's main entrance. This place will be crowded, so do swing by early if you are looking for dinner. The later you are, the harder to find a place for yourself to park. On Burmah Road, there's always limited space to park.
The restaurant ambience is really nice. Rather impressive with the decoration and we were greeted by the restaurants very friendly staff upon entry. Good impression for me already.
I had a tough choice on what to eat on that night as I mentioned earlier, I wasn't really up for anything too full. Since mom passed me the menu, so I had to take a look while I got snapped by Cindy on the camera.
Since I had no idea what to order, mom and dad eventually made their choice. Of course, every Thai food surely must come with a compulsory Tom Yum Prawn. As for the rest, they ordered Long Beans Fried with Pork, Glass Noodles with Prawns, Red Snapper Fish with zesty lime juice and a plate of vegetables (which I did not manage to take a pic of because it was placed behind the fish).
Of course, not to forget, desserts! Thub Thim Krop (waterchestnut with jackfruit in coconut milk) while mom ordered the Mung Bean paste.
Although the ambience were extremely relaxing and nice, however, the food is rather disappointing. The only highlight that you can make is their Tom Yum soup. The taste of its soup is simply nose clearing, tongue twistingly hot! As for the rest, there was nothing for me to even to shout about. Even the desserts, I had better ones in Prangin Mall. As soon as dad got into the car, he already gave everyone a clear judgement of his mind when he says "No Good!". Rating 4 out of 10. At least it didn't go bite the dust thanks for its ambience and also the Tom Yum. Should I return to this place again? It'll be under heavy consideration again before going back.
